I am working as chief Medical officer at primary health center in a government setup since last 10 yrs.... We (India) have a very good health infrastructure but short on human resources and only hardly 2 percent of Gdp is invested in health.. which should be at least 8 percent by laws... we cant even think of Us and uk as they spend about 18 to max 21 percent on health and education... How should we become a development giant... health leaving behind with world's most non communicable diseases burden like diabetes hypertension cardiac arrest dyslipidemia depression etc... must think on it... we need a good reform...
