Rubella is an infection caused by a virus. It is usually mild with fever and a rash. About half of the people who get rubella do not have symptoms. If you do get them, symptoms may includeA rash that starts on the face and spreads to the bodyMild feverAching joints, especially in young womenSwollen glandsRubella is most dangerous for a pregnant woman's baby. It can cause miscarriage or birth defects.Rubella spreads when an infected person coughs or sneezes. People without symptoms can still spread it. A case of Abdominal epilepsy *Chief Complaints* Loss of consciousness one episode Pain abdomen and loose stools *History* A female patient 25 year old came to the OPD with complaints of loss of consciousness after an episode pf loose stools prior to which she had severe crampy abdominal pain. Symptoms lasted for about 3-4 min witnessed by her mother.No h/o tonic clonic movements.
