No one is sure what causes the disease. Risk factors include Long-term steroid treatment Alcohol misuse Joint injuries Having certain diseases, including arthritis and cancer Doctors use imaging tests and other tests to diagnose osteonecrosis. Dr. Vivek Jha6 Likes18 Answers With advancements in medical technology, there will be a diminishing in the reliance on traditional stethoscopes. Expert predicts the analogue version—where doctors listen to the heart & lungs by placing a stethoscope probe in their ears & the chest piece on the patient—will face formidable competition from electronic, digital, & now AI-powered versions. AI supported stethoscope, record, & analyse sounds graphically & be transmitted via Bluetooth or an app. Do these advancements mean that the stethoscope is redundant as the first point of contact with a patient in coming time.
