Degenerative osteoarthritis X-ray left knee joint (AP & Lat.view) suggested Intercondylar spine spiking has been linked to osteophyte formation of the knee.

Please give detailed history of the patient... like pain, tenderness, duration and site of swelling, associated fever or infections, history of injury... and also investigations such as Rheumatoid factor, serum uric acid, ESR.... By d info u have given...it may b most probably Baker's Cyst (if swelling present posteriorly).... or....Arthritis (Rheumatic/ Septic) or Traumatic swelling, chances of Gout, ..... It depends on d investigations and history....@Dr. Amishi Sanghvi
